Sublime paintings in the "northern romantic tradition". Views from live CCTV and webcams that paint a painterly landscape. The artwork focuses on the pastoral landscape to create a real time representation of the landscape.

These pastoral landscapes and seascapes are real time paintings. Instead of CCTV watching our movement in urban space these cameras point out to the landscape or towards the sea. Typically this subject matter was the focus of the 'Old Masters'. The digital landscape is fused with an ever changing present.
In 'Sublime: This England'. I create a morphing series of real time paintings that are always changing. Please note this is not a film but a generative experience. This artwork only uses cameras from the English landscape. I think of this work as a system. The images are gathered into my studio, the compute,r and then painted or morphed using software (the system) and re represented to the world via online networks.

Extra Work. Emergent world. Using thousands of camera view live plus thousands of sounds. A perspective of the world in real time.

Exhibition. This work is available for exhibitions. Contact me if intertested. It can be diplsyaed in various ways. I would like it displayed as a tryptich. Therefore you need three computers with an internet connection and three projectors or plasma screens.
