THE SUCCESS OF FAILURE. 2025
These 3D-printed sculptures present the success of failure — visibly fractured and imploded.
What might have been a gleaming future metropolis is now crumpled like a failed prototype, its forms warped, toppled, and sunken.
Printed using generative software that simulates collapse—structural fatigue, erosion, and entropy—the piece intentionally subverts the clean optimism often found in digital architecture and utopian planning. The structure is at once beautiful and broken, like the fossil of an idea too perfect to live.
This work asks: What happens when dreams of a perfect future decay under the weight of their own ambition? It reflects on the limits of control, the hubris of design, and the fragility of imagined worlds—especially those built without accounting for the messy, human, ecological, and political forces that shape real futures.
The sculptures becomes a kind of architectural ghost, frozen in time, speaking to both the grandeur and the vulnerability of our collective ambitions.
