DATA DATA DATA by Stanza 2008.
Title "data data data" is a live real time data visualisation made using sensors which are scattered over the building. The sensors respond to changes in space, ie the environment of the building. The changing data is turned into this visual event and used in the installation. This artwork is networked and real time.
An art project that gives information about the fabric of our cities or buidlings. By embedding the sensors like this we can re-engage with the urban fabric. The sensors are positioned across the space. The equipment is portable and is used to make a visualisation or sonification of any location on a commision basis. Technical note this can work in a gallery locally as well as online over the internet to represent space as numbers but the sensors have to be switched on.
Custom software enables these sensors to communicate will one another in a network over a proxy server in real time. Contact me if your interested in exhibiting this.Technical note this can work in a gallery ( online over the internet) to represent the space (gallery or city) as numbers. Note: The sensors have to be switched on.
